What is CREATE IT!
CREATE IT! supports arts, crafts, produce, products and entrepreneurs native to Southwest Wisconsin. By showcasing the diverse ways to support “locally made” endeavors, we strive to support the economic growth of communities and dreams of individuals. By providing resources to our local talent, we hope to increase their chance of success.
In 2010, the Southwest Wisconsin chapter of the International Trade, Business and Economic Development Council (SW-ITBEC) provided a grant to seed a CREATE IT! initiative. From this initial effort, The Tomah Art Guild and Colors of Kendall took root and grew.

The Monroe County Economic Development, Tourism & Commerce Committee launched a website and a number of outreach activities to increase visibility (and sales) of the many talented artists, producers and entrepreneurs in our area.
With a desire to build upon this momentum, Southwest ITBEC surveyed potential participants to determine how their needs could best be served, and is now building programs, participation, events and resources with CREATE IT!
